ZENOY
William Pinçon, known by his artist name Zenoy, is a French graffiti artist born in 1974. His unique talent has established him as a renowned artist in the world of graffiti, and he currently resides and creates in the Paris region.
Zenoy began his artistic journey into the world of graffiti in the late 80s, becoming a pioneer of Parisian Subway Art. His beginnings led him to decorate trains with his creations, while taking over the emblematic walls of the French capital. A self-taught artist, Zenoy draws his inspiration from the first generation of Parisian taggers and the writing technique of the 1960s. This approach, born within the hip-hop movement and based on the beauty of the letter, embodies for him a signature art in its own right.
In the early 1990s, Zenoy crossed paths with other artists such as Zea and Kruz, with whom he soon formed the dynamic DKC crew. Then, in 1995, he met Sezam, a member of the group D77, an alliance that led Zenoy to join this prestigious crew.
Alongside more than 15 years spent expressing himself in the streets, Zenoy also explores the realm of the canvas, where he constantly seeks innovation, creation and the blending of experiences he has had. Through his art, he aims to communicate joy and cheerfulness to all who encounter his works. The letter is the foundation of his work, and when creating his graffiti, Zenoy constantly seeks to harmonize colors and shapes to create a unique visual experience.
Today, Zenoy continues his creative journey into the world of graffiti, and is recognized as an authentic contemporary artist. His artistic imprint continues to flourish in the streets and on canvases, bringing a dose of joy and dynamism to every work.
