DAVID RODRIGUEZ CABALLERO

David Rodriguez Caballero (1970), a graduate in Fine Arts from the University of the Basque Country (1995), has lived in New York since 2011.

 

His work has been exhibited in galleries, museums and public institutions around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in Moscow, the Würth Museum in La Rioja, and the Fundación Oteiza Museum. In 2012, his first solo exhibition in Manhattan, "Recent Works", at Marlborough Gallery New York, met with great critical and public success.

 

He has participated in major international art fairs such as Art Basel Miami, ARCO Madrid, and the Contemporary Istanbul Art Fair. He has won several prestigious awards, including the Bodegas Dinastía Vivanco International First Prize for Engraving (La Rioja, 2008) and First Prize at the IX Mostra Colección Unión Fenosa (Unión Fenosa Museum of Contemporary Art, 2006).

 

His work can be found in numerous international collections, including Repsol, the Coca-Cola Foundation and the Würth Museum (La Rioja). He has also published several monographic books, including "Cinco Maneras" and "Conversations with Navarrese artists: David Rodriguez Caballero".
