RAPHAEL FEDERICI
Raphael Federici is a visual artist also known by the pseudonym ParisSketchCulture (PSC). Born in 1986, Raphael Federici lives and works in Paris, but he dedicates himself almost entirely to travel, in search of walls to paint. He identifies with Generation Y and seeks to be a spokesperson for his generation through his subjects and techniques, aiming to connect with his contemporaries by using a "universal" language: street art.
He claims a multidisciplinary approach to art, combining classical painting, spray painting, illustration, and other forms of art essential to building his world (sculpture, leatherwork, projection, carpentry…), and works both in the studio and in urban spaces. He enjoys confronting so-called “noble” techniques to serve a more “underground” message, creating from this mix a new essence, often with a taste of the unfinished. Since 2012, he has dedicated himself to painting around the world in constant pursuit.
At 32, having lived from his art for seven years, he travels the world to fuel his inspiration. For him, travel is much more than simple movement, it is a source of enrichment and inspiration. Contrary to stereotypes, he draws his strength from light, not from darkness. His work is a spiritual journey, an exploration toward a better world where he communicates directly with the heart. In 2022, with his friend Lionel Settini, he opened the "Art Victoire" studio in Aix-en-Provence, a space for artistic residency. A child of the world, he is committed through his art to love, altruism, and authenticity, inviting everyone to embark on this boundless adventure.
