Guided by their passion for art, Laurence and Stéphane Ellia founded Ellia Art Gallery in 2013. Beginning with a first gallery in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the adventure then spread to the Marais and Ternes districts. From modest beginnings, this duo has been able to impose its vision, its artistic approach and forge links with numerous talents, becoming a benchmark in the Parisian cultural landscape.
Over the years, Laurence, who heads the gallery, and Stéphane, an expert in real estate and innovation, have developed a sprawling network with a unique operation, spread across several galleries designed as places of inspiration, emotion and learning. This diversity of spaces enables them to meet different audiences, in places that are in perpetual motion, and can be modulated according to the initiatives and vibrations of the surrounding environment.
Laurence and Stéphane Ellia are committed to promoting and helping art lovers discover the talents of tomorrow. One example of this is the original “Urban Soul” exhibition, where urban influences come face to face with contemporary art, and where artists of all generations rub shoulders, dialogue and collaborate.
Although their artistic line is eclectic, it remains firmly rooted in urban and contemporary creation. The gallery regularly collaborates with other galleries, festivals and media such as Urban Art Fair, Musée en Herbe, Technikart and AFP, to amplify the resonance of their programming and make art accessible to as many people as possible.
Today, the gallery represents and exhibits emerging and renowned artists, without distinction, all remarkable for their universe, technique and creative approach. Recent exhibitions include Chanoir, Piotre, Soklak, Dize and Joachim Romain, as well as Gwendoline Finaz de Villaine, Mauro Maugliani, Chloé Kelly Miller, and photographers Stéphane de Bourgies and Ella Bats. All brought together by an agile organization, in prestigious venues in the heart of the capital, around stimulating concepts at the crossroads of art, fashion and design.
