SCKARO
Sckaro (Oscar Maslard), born in Le Havre in 1985, is an emerging artist whose work resonates with artistic passion and multidisciplinary creativity.
Since childhood, Sckaro has cultivated an open mind and a thirst for knowledge, emphasizing cultural and inquisitive values. Despite a musical upbringing and a decade dedicated to the violin, Sckaro decided at the age of 20 to plunge into the world of painting, thus choosing to devote his life to visual art.
His artistic journey is a saga that passes through various stages. From graffiti covering a few walls, to abstract contemporary paintings, to dreamlike hyperrealism, influenced by the classical masters, Sckaro follows his vocation and passion. His art reflects his deep desire to create and express himself.
Sckaro's oil paintings reveal his mastery of classical techniques, combining canvas, shades of color, glazes and varnishes, while adapting traditional elements such as drapery and flesh to a modern aesthetic. The human, in its various forms and interpretations, remains a common thread running through his work, sometimes expressing an improbable mise-en-scène and other times a striking reality.
His murals, created solo or with his brother Ratur (Arthur Maslard), his accomplice since childhood and the birth of their shared passion, have emerged as impressive creations. These murals have conquered French cities and foreign territories, testifying to the growing interest in their unique aesthetic.
Endowed with a deep emotional sensitivity and an intellectual and artistic curiosity, Sckaro never separates his art from music, which constantly accompanies him in his creative process.
A passionate self-taught artist, Sckaro constantly explores, innovates and expresses himself, immersing himself in the love of color through figuration and abstraction, which occupy a growing place in his work.
Sckaro stands out as a rising star in the contemporary artistic landscape, a captivating visual language to be followed closely.
